
IN THE PAST Gordon Richiusa was teaching martial arts where he created The Grey Belt Program, so that people could share and practice together without the encumbrance of rank.
NOW He’s taken this expression of gratitude for the STUDENTS IN ANY Discripline or pursuit to a new level and has created TRIBUTE(S) TO THE UNKNOWN(S). The first Tribute was given in March 2026 to Eric Lee. He was NOT HONORED (he has received numerous awards in the past) but accepted Gordon’s invitation to become the first KEEPER of a Tribute Bonsai Tree. Eric received this first tribute at this year’s USA Black Belt Hall of Fame, in Costa Mesa, CA at the Crowne Plaza. Here is a clip of the event:
